Indian River County Festivals and Events
A frog leg festival, a juried art show under the oaks and riverfront holiday parades.
Indian River County’s events are small-town in scale and most are run by volunteers, which keeps them friendly and affordable. The peak comes in winter and early spring, when part-time residents are in town, the Riverside Theatre and the art museum are in full season and the outdoor festivals have the best weather.
Monthly events fill in the rest of the calendar. Downtown Vero Beach holds a gallery stroll on the first Friday of most months and Main Street Vero Beach hosts evening street events, while Riverside Theatre’s outdoor stage brings live music to Riverside Park through much of the year.
